Abstract

Three types of metal rubber, steel cable and multi-layer steel plate isolators were designed. The static and dynamic experiments were researched. Those conclusions show the three types of full-metal isolators have own characteristics respectively and good performance of dry friction damping. The relation between the stiffness and coefficient of energy dissipation of the three types of full-metal isolators is non-linear. At the same time the lifetime of the isolators was researched too, the conclusion of the relation between transmissibility and vibration times is obtained. This research establishes the basis for three types of full-metal isolators applying in the outer pipeline of aeroengine.
