Abstract

In order to solve the problem that maintainability design is lagged behind structure design, a new maintainability concurrent design method with the help of virtual environment is brought forward. By similar case, the maintainability prediction of structure is put up with the previous design knowledge. Based on virtual reality technology, maintainability design of structure is validated in virtual maintenance environment intuitively and immersively, and revision is put up and provided to maintainability design engineers. The maintainability information is integrated into structure information, and integrative information model is built in virtual maintenance environment. The method improves the efficiency of maintainability concurrent design of structure and support the maintainability design with a virtual, experience-based, dynamic and circular technology.
