N2 - In this study, orthogonal tests are used to investigate the effects of three indicators, namely the type of emulsified asphalt fog seal, the types of sand, the number of sprinklings, the strength of the fog seal itself, the adhesion strength of the emulsified asphalt sand fog seal to the asphalt pavement and the aggregate, respectively, using wet track abrasion, pull-out strength test, and adhesion performance test. In the multi-indicator coupling analysis, the comprehensive performance of the emulsified asphalt sand fog seal is best under the three levels of EAFS-3, diamond sand, and sprinkling once or sprinkling twice. By testing the road performance of the test road surface of the emulsified asphalt sand fog seal before and after maintenance, we obtained that the designed emulsified asphalt sand fog seal has better water permeability and skid resistance.
