Abstract
Wind tunnel test system requires motor system which has little volume and wieght_so a high speed and power density permanent synchronous motor for wind tunnel test was researched. An ultimate comprehensive analysis method adopting electromagnetic and temperature field FEM was introduced, to make motor system high torque in little volume. The ultimate comprehensive analysis method adopts FEM software to analyze the electromagnetic characteristic and loss characteristic, and then analyzed the thermal load based the data of the electromagnetic FEM. Therefore, this method could adopt the stator and rotor's component ultimate characteristic, make every reach the ultimate temperature. And the motor system can reach the ultimate using. Based on the analyses and design, a prototype motor is manufactured for experiment with the lab environment. Compared the experiments with simulation results, it proves the design is accurate.
