Abstract

For the closed-type linear bearing and guideway at the same time by the bending moment and radial force under the action of the contact stress problem, this paper analyses the variable-axis diameter closed-type linear bearings and guideway contact region of the geometric law, making the contact stress and friction is not coupled, the guideway axis for the rigid body, the bearing for the flexible body of the assumptions, based on Winkler elastic basis model, deduced a variable-axis diameter of the closed-type linear bearings and the guideway of the contact stress calculation method. The analytical solution and finite element solution of contact stress are obtained through specific examples. The two are compared. The results show that the analytical solution and the finite element solution are basically in agreement. Therefore, the proposed contact stress calculation method is correct and reasonable, which provides a theoretical basis for the strength analysis and optimal design of the variable-axis diameter of the closed-type linear bearings.
