N2 - Double-main-rib concrete cable-stayed bridges were widely used in the early 20th century. However, with the surge in traffic volume on highways, the increase in the load capacity of transport vehicles, and long-term operation, structural defects and damages have occurred in bridge structures, which affected the performance of the bridges. Traditional point-based sensing equipment has significant technical limitations in terms of spatial coverage. Therefore, in the load testing of the bridge, fully distributed optical fiber sensing technology is adopted to obtain fully distributed strain data for kilometer-scale concrete cable-stayed bridges. This allows for grasping the actual working conditions of the main girder within its full scale and capturing key data during the load testing, thereby enabling the re-verification of the design state during the bridge loading test.
