Abstract
A novel rotating electromagnetic heating machine(EMHM) is presented based on the reverse problem of the temperature rise and loss in electrical machines. Its input energy is completely transferred into thermal powers, and furthermore, the water medium flowed through it is magnetized. A coupled algorithm applied to calculate the heat transfer process is presented, based on the analysis of calculation method of electromagnetic, temperature and fluid fields of EMHM. A concept of power regulation, which can evaluate the performance of the heat transfer, is presented in the analysis of heat transfer process. The effects of different flow rates and initial heat powers on power regulation are calculated by a prototype, and also the effects of relevant parameters on regulation. The experiment research was made.
