Abstract

In this paper, we design a dynamic voltage balancing circuit between the super capacitor module which is suitable for electric vehicle charging station. The voltage balancing circuit using the energy transfer for the purpose of the voltage balance. Through the 'peak load shifting' way, achieve all the super capacitor unit voltage relative equilibrium. This equalization circuit compared with the existing voltage balancing strategy, each super capacitor unit can implement automatic equalizing, simplify the circuit. Power conversion device in the circuit realize zero current switching, reduce the circuit loss. At the same time through the voltage balancing circuit calculation analysis, get the main factors influencing the performance of circuit, in order to carry out the parameter design for the circuit. Simulation and experimental results show that the equalization circuit has good balancing effect.
