Abstract
Leading industry is the core and pillar of the regional economic development. The special industrial environment and economic structure demands Heilongjiang Province to select leading industry to promote the whole economy development. On the basis of leading industries selection principles and criterion, 15 indexes are chosen to evaluate the leading industry selection. The grey cluster model based on triangle albino weight function is applied, industries are clustered into several categories according to each fixed weight index, the ones plays a high performance in the special index is chosen as the leading industry. Applying triangle albino function grey cluster into the area of leading industry selection is a innovation and this method can get a comprehensive index and evaluate all kinds of affecting factors, reflecting the status and role of each industry plays in the regional economy development, evaluate the merits and demerits of the industries. Applying this model into Heilongjiang Province, the leading industries of the area will be selected; the screening results testify the applicability and credibility of the model.
