Abstract
This paper focuses on the surplus torque problem in electric load simulator system. First, based on the mathematical model of electric load simulator, the principle of surplus torque is analyzed and its features are discussed. Then, two-freedom internal model control method is applied to solve surplus torque problem, and two-freedom internal model controller is designed. By means of simulation, it is proved that two-freedom internal model controller could suppress surplus torque effectively, and the torque tracking performance of electric load simulator is also improved.
