Abstract
The paper analyzed the operation modes of hybrid electric vehicle based on electric variable transmission. According to the power requirement, current vehicle speed, battery's SOC, and the operation status of last sampling time, rule control strategy based on the logic thresholds was designed to solve the problem of operation mode switching. Furthermore, the torque fluctuation at the moment of operation mode switching was analysed deeply, a coordinate control strategy was proposed, which provided the compensation output torque of engine. Then, the relationship of two machines in electric variable transmission was established, and a coordinate control strategy based the closed loop of vehicle speed was presented. This paper explored a new idea for the research of hybrid electric vehicle, which would be of great importance in theory and practice.
