Abstract

A midcourse guidance law based on predicted encounter point was presented for intercepting the high-speed target in three-dimensional space. After constructing the model of the relative movement between target and interceptor, restrictions of the correctional orbit were analyzed and the computing method about correctional orbit elements was also derived. Moreover, the formulas of thrust engine's working time and vector determination were given. Simulation results show that this method can implement efficiently the midcourse guidance of the interceptor.
