Abstract
This article studies the solutions to the problem of the frost formed on the surface of airside heat exchanger when air source heat pumps run in winter, In order to improve the synthetical running performance of the unit, to prolong running time of the unit. Using the distribution parameter method, established a differential equation, and made its discrete solutions. In this paper, the dynamic values of the frosting rate, density and thickness of frost, the pressure drop and heat flux are calculated under conditions of different distance of fins, diameter and distance of pipes. The result shows that the frost on airside heat exchanger will act differently on the performance of a unit when its structure parameters changed. The frosting course can be delayed by increasing the distance of fins. The distance of fins should vary with relative humidity for different district.
