Abstract

In recent years, port ships have become an important source of air pollutants. The emissions of pollutants from ships can be reduced by the use of shore electricity technology. But whether shore electricity technology can be greatly promoted depends on whether it has good economic benefits. In this paper, the economic cost of ship shore electricity technology is classified according to the characteristics of ship shore electricity technology investment, and the economic cost model is established. On this basis, the dynamic payback period of ship using shore electricity technology is analyzed by net present value method. The longer the ship's docking time, the lower the price, the shorter the dynamic payback period can be summarized. Finally, the environmental benefit evaluation of ship shore electricity technology is carried out by theoretical deduction of the energy consumption and pollutant discharge before and after the use of shore power. The feasibility of the method is verified by an example, which can provide the basis for the promotion of port shore technology.
