N2 - A wideband microstrip antenna with dual polarization character operated in mobile communication system is researched. In this paper, the structure of overhang parasitic patch is adopted to widen the band, and the slot structure of T type is applied to increase isolation. By simulation and optimization, the microstrip antenna can realize the characters mentioned above, and the gain can get 8.5dB at the band of 1710~2170MHz. So the simulation result presented can satisfy some practical operation.
