Abstract

After the characteristics and capability of network intrusion detection technique are introduced, the distributed intrusion detection system based on agent is classified. Two typical system frames are described. Some key techniques to be used in developing an intrusion detection system are discussed. The detail methods to solve these technical problems are given.
