Abstract

In recent years, there has been a wave of research on the application of microsatellites at home and abroad. In response to the requirements of low-cost, fast launch and high reliability in the small satellite launch market, electric rocket engines have entered the field of vision of rocket design companies. The rocket engine puts forward the requirements of short-term operation, high speed and light weight for the electric pump drive control system, while the motor system is small in size and large in loss, which leads to an increase in temperature and directly affects the operation reliability. In this paper, a new cooling structure is proposed, which uses the flow channel in the motor stator slot and the low-temperature refrigerant medium to directly cool the winding copper loss, which accounts for the largest loss, thereby improving the power density and reliability of the motor. This paper first discusses the influence of low temperature environment on the electromagnetic properties of motor materials; then uses solenoids to analyze the influencing factors of the cooling structure; finally, under the action of multi-physics, the influence of the main parameters of the motor on performance and power density is studied, and it is obtained that the cooling boundary allows Design method for high power density motor under conditions.
