Research on constituting element of water front landscape design procedure of cold region

Water front landscape of cold region has mutual characteristics shared by cold region landscape and water front landscape. Meanwhile, affected by cold region climate, water front landscape of cold region design procedure is evidently different from that of water front region. Therefore, it is meaningful to do systematic research on this field. With the existing problems of water front landscape design procedure of cold region, based on the climatic characteristic of cold region, this paper aims at analyzing the features of cold region water front and then go down to do the research from analysis of basic elements that compose cold region water front. As a matter of fact, this paper will then provide strategies on the design of cold region water front landscape.
