Research on a cavity-dumped burst-mode laser and the dual-stage dual-pass amplification

Abstract

We demonstrated a cavity-dumped burst-mode 1.06μm laser and its amplified laser performances. At pumping duration of 2ms, burst energy, peak power and pulse width reached 1.89J, 2.87MW and 3.1±0.3ns, respectively, at Q-switch repetition rate 100kHz.
