Abstract

In this paper, some key techniques of Bistatic Synthetic Aperture Radar (Bistatic SAR) are researched. First, the echo signal model of Bistatic SAR is given and then the analysis of the signal in Doppler domain is performed. Since the Doppler center-frequency and Doppler bandwidth are related with different geometric models, this paper gives particular emphasis on analyzing Doppler information of different targets at the same range under parallel model. At last, RD and BP algorithm application characteristics in Bistatic SAR are discussed and the simulation experiments under parallel model were taken.
