Abstract
Angular glint is an important parameter of radar target's back - scattering characteristics. It seriously reduces guidance accuracy of millimeter radar. In this paper, we propose a way to suppress the angular glint by utilizing the crosscorrelation between RCS and angular glint. To accomplish this RCS weighting method, frequency agility is employed to get independent samples of target echo signal. The simulation result shows that the square root error value of glint can be suppressed from 5m ∼ 6m to no greater than 1m within 4 ∼ 5 pulses processed.
