Abstract
This paper studied the CAN bus transmission time delay property. The transmission time delay model of Fieldbus was constructed, the general and simplified transmission time delay formulas were given, and two important aspects that influences transmission time delay, block time and frame time, were summarized. CAN bus block time mathematical model was proposed, the structure of CAN frame time was analyzed and the frame time under different parameters were given. The job of this paper may process certain value for promoting the application and theoretical study of CAN bus.
