Abstract

The guidelines of quicker, better and cheaper have been recognized by more and more international microsatellite peers. the development experience of system integrated management unit was shared, in order to develop avionics with a quicker, better and cheaper way, an open system architecture for on-board avionics was adopted, the universal product specifications and standard interface specification should be published for introduction of competition mechanism; The standardization, combination and modularization design is important, more and more avionics should be developed based on products off the shelf; A new way of selection and quality assurance measures of COTS Component for low cost microsatellites was put forward to reduce the cost of Component significantly. Plug and play and BIT was used to support quick testing and simplified satellite AIT process.
