Abstract
As a common spinal deformity,adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is frequently characterized by scoliosis phis spinal migration and vertebral rotation. Spinal fusion is a primary treatment for AIS patients with scoliosis angle greater than 45 degrees. It helps to correct the deformity, prevent scoliosis progression and maintain spinal balance. This review summarized the latest researches on the treatment of AIS with spinal fusion.
