Abstract

Reproducing kernel particle method was adopted to establish the meshless discrete formula of phase change heat conduction in temperature field, based on the principle of least squares collocation, the least squares collocation format of the phase change energy transfer equation was constructed. Then the one-dimensional phase change problem in a infinite plate was dealt with, the calculation results showed that this method have high calculation accuracy for phase change problems, thus the feasibility of this method for phase change problems was verified;for isothermal and nonisothermal phase change problems, the results showed that the method is not only applicable to isothermal phase change, but also to the non-isothermal phase change problems,so the method has stronger adaptability in dealing with phase change problems.
