Abstract
In this paper, a three-dimensional assembly prototype model of a relay was developed using the 3D modeling software UG. The static suction and reaction characteristics of the relay were subsequently calculated using ANSYS and ADAMS. Utilizing the static suction data obtained from the static feature simulation, the relay's dynamic feature results were derived in the MATLAB/Simulink module. A virtual prototype platform was then constructed to serve as a simulation analysis tool for optimal design. To enhance the instantaneous speed at the moment of contact separation, a novel structure for the contact system was proposed. The feasibility of this proposed scheme, aimed at improving product lifespan, was rigorously verified through simulation analysis on the virtual prototype platform and empirical testing of the prototype product.
