Abstract

In order to research relationship between optimum curved blade generate line and cascade solidity in linear compressor cascade, 56 schemes at 8 different solidity are simulated, the optimum curved height and optimum curved angle are present here. The results show that loss decreases with the curved height increasing at the same curved angle, loss is minimal at the curved height of 50%, the optimum curved height is 50%. Loss variation with curved angle presents a approximate parabola type at the same curved height, there is an optimum curved angle (αopt), at which curved angle loss is minimal. With solidity increasing, optimum angle and benefit of curved angle are both present first decreases, and then increases. The larger the blade loading the larger the influence of the solidity to the optimum curved angle, the lower the blade loading the lower the influence of the solidity to the optimum curved angle.
