Abstract

A refractive index Fabry-Perot interferometric fiber sensor is proposed and experimentally demonstrated, which is fabricated by a section of fiber tube and a fan-shaped silver diaphragm. The sensitivity of proposed sensor is 1025 nm/RIU.
