Abstract

With the Songhuajiang tunnel built in Harbin as an example, both the optimization analysis and the finite element numerical analysis are used to simulate different cases and site conditions, and the redistribution of secondary earth stress produced by shield tunneling is studied through numerical simulating experiments to evaluate the influence of various factors on the soil deformation and to identify the most dangerous failure location beforehand.
