Abstract

The determination of sulfide in an acidogenic sulfate-reducing bioreactor using sulfide-selective electrode had an obvious potential change at the end of titration under alkaline conditions. The whole course of sample determination could be completed in 3 min without special pretreatment. Volatile fatty acid and inorganic anion have little effect on the results of determination. The minimum detection limit was 0.26 mg/L. In addition, this method has advantages of simple operation, high sensitivity, rapid determination, and wide measurement concentration.
