Abstract

In the high-frequency radar system, the target of interest might be merged in the range-folded clutter. To get better detection performance, the range-folded clutter need to be suppressed. A logical-mapping clutter suppression method using dual waveform repetition frequency (WRF) is proposed. The selection criterion of signal parameters is given and the clutter suppression performance is also analyzed. Simulation results suggest that the clutter can be efficiently suppressed under proper signal parameters.
