Abstract

In this paper, the quantized control of networked control systems under stochastic clock offsets is considered. We assume that the clock offsets are caused by asynchronous clocks between sensors and controllers. A stochastic variable with a specific probability density function is used to describe the stochastic clock offsets. A quantized controller is designed to deal with quantization error such that the corresponding systems are stochastically stable. Finally, two numerical examples are used to show the validity of the proposed design method.
