Abstract
The quality of the functional edge directly influences the flow output performance of the spool valve, ultimately affecting the control precision of the servo system. This work proposes a method for evaluating the machining quality of the functional edge of the valve sleeve, which can systematically and intuitively reflect the functional edge's morphological characteristics through three indexes. The corresponding pneumatic measuring method has been designed, simplifying the complex morphological characteristics of the edge into intuitive indexes by simulating the throttling function of the valve sleeve and realizing the quality evaluation of the functional edge inside the sleeve. The pneumatic measurement system has been constructed, and the quality of the functional edge is evaluated by these experiments. This machining quality evaluation method serves as a benchmark for setting the appropriate criteria for the functional edge machining in actual production environments.
