Abstract

The q-deformed W(2,2) algebra is a Hom-Lie algebra, denoted by W. In this paper, we compute its second cohomology with values in the adjoint module by elementary and direct calculations, and obtain that the second cohomology group H^2(W, W) is two-dimensional.
