Abstract

As a kind of new lateral resistance member, thin-walled steel plate shear walls (SPSW) have good ductility and energy dissipation ability. In recent years, the behavior of this kind of member and simplified model were widely studied. Thin-walled steel plate shear wall can be applied in steel reinforced concrete (SRC) frame and composes a new kind of composite structures, which has higher bearing capacity and energy dissipation ability. In this paper, the software OpenSees is used to analyze the behavior of composite structure. The influence of rigidity ratio between steel plate shear wall and steel reinforced concrete frame on the behavior of structures is analyzed. The results show that the reasonable rigidity ratio is near to 3.
