Abstract

BatiO₃ semi-conductor ceramics doped with donor La and acceptor Mn were synthesized through sol-gel method. In doping process, nitrate can be used to substitute for conventional alkoxides to realize the homogeneous doping and improve the components homogeneity of BaTiO₃ ceramics. The relationship between concentration of donor Mn and PTC characteristic, microcosmic mechanism of PTC characteristic were discussed.
