Abstract

Based on the pristine CoS/GNs conducted by our research group, a novel Prune-like MoS2/CoS/GNs composite absorbing material was modulated by further hydrothermal method. Herein, the design of prune-like tripropellant MoS2/CoS/GNs complex is presented. The introduction of MoS2 hugely broadens the effective absorption bandwidth (less than −10 dB) relative to pure CoS/GNs, and also dramatically elavates the absorption capacity. This can be attributed to the construction of the conductive network and Complex morphology regulation caused by the addition of MoS2 phase, which is conducive to the transmission of electrons and the conduction of micro-current, thus enhancing the conductive loss. Accordingly, the massively surge in heterogeneous interfaces induced by the variation of the micro-morphology also contributed to the upgradation of the wave absorption performance. The optimized ternary sample exhibited a minimum reflection loss of − 54 dB, also achieved a wide band-width of 4.72 GHz at only 1.5 mm. This work is expected to provide a feasible scheme for engineering novel potential efficient and wave absorbers.
