Abstract

In the environment of low earth orbit (LEO), the erosion of spacecraft surface materials are the most serious. The erosion of AO to space materials is introduced in this paper. Various kinds of protective measures and their effects about the erosion of AO in recent years are highlighted, including coating type atomic oxygen erosion resistant material, intrinsic type atomic oxygen erosion resistant material, adding type atomic oxygen erosion resistant material, interface self-assembly, etc.
