Abstract

This paper reviews the recent development status of SiBCN ceramics fabricated by precursors. Two routes of synthesis of precursor are introduced in detail. The yield of precursor and ceramics which were fabricated by different routes are compared. The difference of mechanics and resistance of creep deformation and oxidation between the SiBCN ceramics and pure SiC and Si₃N₄ are introduced.
