Abstract

To improve the innovation design of complex products based on knowledge system, the key technique which satisfied the demand of products' new function was realized. The six-tuple structure was used to define product Function-Behavior-Structure (FBS) designing knowledge ontology model and estilibish products design knowledge base. For the new function introduced by new demand in product design, concept learning based on variant space was proposed to get the general function unit or special function unit. With the progress leveling FBS ontology mapping strategy, product innovation design was accomplished by searching product design knowledge base with name similarity. Based on leveling analysis model of product innovation design, the product innovation design based on FBS ontology mapping of variant space was evaluated. The validity of the proposed method have been verified by the example of innovation design and evaluation of multi-wire diamond saw.
