Abstract
The values of flow stress of TA15 titanium alloy at different conditions were obtained through thermal compressive tests. The temperature, strain and strain rate were defined as input variable and the flow stress was defined as output variable. Thus a BP neural network was set up. Based on the neural network, the processing map of TA15 titanium alloy was obtained. The stable and instable regimes were evaluated using the criterion postulated by Prasad and vertified by metallographical observation. The processing map can offer a reference to practical processing technology.
