Preparation study on the novel zinc-aluminium phosphate cementitious material

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A novel inorganic phosphate cementitious material-zinc-aluminium phosphate was successfully synthesized. The optimized preparation parameters were determined through the experiments of moisture adsorption ratio, heating weight loss and bending strength of fiber reinforced composite, etc. According to these experiments, the optimum preparation parameters are fixed as following: the molar ratio of Zn/Al=1/5, reaction temperature is 120°C, and preparation lasts 2 hours. On the basis of Flory theory, the activation energy of gel reaction was calculated, which is 0 02411 kJ/mol. This study paves the way to preparing high performance fiber reinforced phosphate composites.
