Abstract
High-purity BCN hollow spheres were produced by pyrolyzing a simple polymeric precursor at 1000 °C. The chemical bonding states of the BCN spheres were investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. SEM and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy studies revealed that the BCN hollow spheres have good spherical morphology and crystallinity.
