Abstract

Al2O3 supported NiO-MnO catalysts were prepared by absorption method, and the structures were characterized by SEM and XPS techniques. The preparation methods and conditions on catalytic activities have been studied and obtained the best reaction conditions. The results show that the catalysts of NiO-MnO/Al2O3 have very high catalytic activities, when the hours of absorption is 3 h, the mole proportion between Ni (NO3)2 and Mn (NO3)2 is 1:1, the dried temperature at 90°C for 2 h and the temperature of bake at 400°C for 4 h.
