Abstract

Efficient heterogeneous catalytic ozonation is a promising advanced oxidation technology for water treatment. A12O3 supported copper catalysts (Cu/Al2O3) were prepared by immersion method, and the structures were characterized by BET and SEM techniques. The preparations methods and conditions on catalytic activities have been studied and the best reaction conditions have been obtained. The results show that the catalysts of Cu/Al2O3 will have very high catalytic activities, when the concentration of absorption is 1 mol/L, the hours of absorption is 6 h and the temperature of bake is 300°C.
