Abstract

Kevlar/Surlyn composites were fabricated by mould pressing. The effects of pressing temperature, pressure, time and resin content on properties of composites were studied. The results show that the optimum proceeding condition is pressing temperature 170°C, pressure 3MPa, holding time 30min. Resin content has important effect on stab resistant property of composite. The optimum resin content was 47wt%.
