Abstract

NiO/Al powders were prepared by homogeneous coprecipitation method. The effect of the preparation conditions on the infrared emissivity were studied. The phase composition and morphologies of the powders were characterized by XRD and SEM. The infrared emissivity of composite powders was studied by Fourier Transformation Infrared Spectrum(FIIR spectroment). The electromagnetic parameters were studied by vector network analyzer. The results show that composite powders with the lowest IR emissivity of 0.5556 is obtained under the Al content of 2.0 g, reaction time 7.0 h, reaction temperature 450°C. The results show that the composite powders are coated completelly. Agglomerative NiO/Al particles are gradually disintegrated. The average size of compsite powder is the uniform thickness. Compsite powders show better electromagnetic properties.
