Abstract

In order to study the isolation system from the point of view of energy transmission, the Bush element is used to simulate the vertical mechanical impedance of isolator in 5-200 Hz. The stiffness of Bush element is constant and the damping of Bush element is variable with the frequency. The node responses of the float raft isolation system are obtained by FEM frequency response analyzing. The forces on the end of the isolators are obtained by the equation of mechanical impedance of the isolator. The input and output power flow is obtained by two steps above. With the comparison of input and output accelerations and power flow, the power flow could better estimate the isolation system than the acceleration. The power flow could be used as evaluation in vibration analysis.
