Abstract
The traditional double-loop control strategy is analyzed according to the characteristics of two-stage grid-connected single-phase PV inverter, based on which a control algorithm with power feedforward is proposed. The output power of PV panels is added to the reference of current close-loop as power feedforward, which improves the dynamic response to the input power changes. Simulations with Matlab/Simulink are carried out and the comparison of output current response to input power change between controls with and without power feedforward verifies its effectiveness. The experimental result of 1 kW PV inverter prototype proves the correctness of theoretical analysis.
