Abstract
This letter presents an iterative power allocation algorithm for dual-hop full-duplex decode-and-forward MIMO relay system with single-stream transmission. The proposed iterative algorithm is composed of internode power allocation phase and intranode power allocation phase. For the internode phase, an optimal solution is achieved under a joint constraint of individual and global power. For the intranode phase, a Signal-to-Leakage-and-Noise Ratio based suboptimal allocation result is obtained. So the proposed two phases iterative power allocation is a global suboptimal algorithm. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that the iterative algorithm significantly enhances the end-to-end capacity.
